Reach Out Orphanage in La Másica Atlántida, Honduras, C.A.
Thanks to your prayers...
Despite all the scare and talk of the political situation in Honduras, the Lord led us on to move forward with the missionary trip to Proyecto Alcance, Masica Atlantida and it was definitely a great experience for all. This trip was spearheaded by Carlos W. De Jesús, President of the Missions Department at the Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, M.I. in Pompano Beach and accompanied by his wife Paula De Jesús, Rev. Eliseo Flecha, Mis. Yolanda Flecha, Rev. Elias Flecha, Mis. Mirta Flecha, Teresa Franco, Tony Quintero, Cheryl Santana, Pedro Santana, Maria Rodriguez and Ruth Diaz.
Brother David, Dialis and the children of the orphanage were very happy to have us with them. Clown "Emergencin" (Tony Quintero) and "Chiquita" (Paula De Jesús) were given the opportunity to minister to the children of the orphanage and the community congregated at the "Manada Pequeña" Children's Church. Other members of the group had a great time preaching at other churches in San Juan, La Cieba and La Masica.
The Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, M.I. of Pompano Beach was able to contribute toward the projects currently undergoing at Proyecto Alcance, but the total need has not been fulfilled. We encourage all of you to take an active part toward this cause - every penny helps! $320 will sponsor a child for one full year of education. The load is heavy and the work is hard, but if we all do our part contributing to the future of these less fortunate children, this mission could be made lighter and easier to carry through. Why not become a sponsor today? True compassion puts love into action...love is never afraid of giving too much!
